Arabic music star Cheb Khaled, best known for the international hit ‘Aicha’, will be among the singers performing on Arabic night on November 26 as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concert series. Khaled, will be joined by Lebanese singer Fares Karam, Emirati songstress Aryam and DJ Said Mrad.
The du Arena concert will be a part of Yasalam after-race weekend on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Other international artists will also be announced later.
Algerian singer Khaled became an international sensation with his 1993 hit ‘Didi’ and the iconic ‘Aicha’ (1996), both of which have been recorded by multiple artists around the world. He is now considered a world music icon who propelled Arabic music onto the global scene.
