Dubai: Fresh from a triumphant debut at the Tokyo Motor Show a few weeks ago, Nissan's GT-R supercar was unveiled at the Dubai motor show by Colin Dodge, senior vice-president of Nissan.

"We are proud to present this stunning new Nissan GT-R, a true super-car for the 21st century and an ultimate physical expression of passion," said Dodge.

The GT-R is one of the world's fastest vehicles, and probably the world's easiest and most secure high-speed car.

The multi-performance GT-R set a production car lap record of seven minutes 38 seconds in Germany, racing through the Nurburgring circuit - where the most feared high speed corner, 'Kesselchen' was wet. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

"I believe it creates a completely new car genre. The key factors are the utilisation of the earth's natural forces and the high technology for human-machine interface, developed to control the ultimate performance. The car can be driven fast and skillfully by just about anybody in just about any road condition," said Kazutoshi Mizuno, chief vehicle engineer and chief product specialist for the Nissan GT-R.

The problem is that everyone is anxious about certain sudden changes, including you. But while you're biding your time until you learn more, others are taking action, and it isn't always well thought out. The best strategy? For now – distract them.
