- The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is wearing very little camouflage in this shot, exposing its new family snout (think protruding grille like on the CLS and new SLK) and angry body kit.
Are you head over heels in love with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG? Well, join the club. Are you also dead broke? Time to form another club, where we get to console each other and offer shoulders to cry on.
Tissues are included in the membership fee. Not to worry though, because Mercedes-Benz has now tasted our tears and to appease us, Stuttgart is preparing an SLS AMG, Roadster no less, in all but name. OK, also in all but body shape, interior, style, but thankfully, price too. We’re talking of course about the forthcoming SL63 AMG, recently spied in prototype form tearing up German B-roads. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is wearing very little camouflage in this shot, exposing its new family snout (think protruding grille like on the CLS and new SLK) and angry body kit. You get AMG everything, including AMG wheels, AMG exhaust, AMG rear spoiler and diffuser, and most of all an AMG engine. That means the SL63 gets the 563bhp thanks to a 5.5-litre turbocharged V8. That means it’s also an SLS AMG in all but engine as well... Never mind though, because would you say no to 900Nm of torque? Exactly, join the club...
