Emirati and Saudi inventors create air-powered car
Three Emiratis and a Saudi national have created a car that operates on compressed air, according to a newspaper report on Sunday.
Dubai: Three Emiratis and a Saudi national have created a car that operates on compressed air, according to a newspaper report on Sunday.
Emarat Alyoum reported that the environmentally friendly car runs on a top speed of 25 kilometres per hour.
Inventors around the world are trying to come up with their own version of an air-powered car.
Zero Pollution Motors said that it expects to produce air-powered cars for the United States by late 2009 or early 2010.
India's Tata Motors is also looking at manufacturing 6,000 zero-emissions air cars, which are scheduled to run on Indian streets in August 2008.
