A popular heritage event at Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is back this year, providing visitors with a glimpse of the UAE's rich cultural legacy in the Hatta Heritage Village and the Shindagah heritage complex in Dubai.

At top billing in both places is an exhibition on Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan titled Zayed - The Enduring Legacy.

Starting from his early childhood to his charismatic reign as President of the UAE, the exhibition throws light on the life of a truly dynamic leader.

Khalid Bin Gharib, Head of DSF Heritage Events Committee, said, “The heritage events reflect the true traditions of the UAE and its people… Such events pave the way for inter-cultural dialogue and encourage understanding of various cultures around the world.''

Omani music band shows will be held at the Diving Village from February 15 to 24. A display of urban wedding festivities will be held on February 2, 14, and 23.

Traditional activities, including a camel carnival, will be held at the Heritage Village every Friday and Saturday between 5 and 10pm throughout DSF.
