Aerobatic champion returns
Klaus Schrodt, last year's Al Ain Aerobatic Show champion, arrives in the garden city to participate in the next show.
Klaus Schrodt, last year's Al Ain Aerobatic Show champion, has arrived in the garden city to participate in the next show scheduled from January 11 to 15.
The 59-year-old German is the first international pilot to have arrived. He is training on his Extra 330L/300S aircraft.
The show is being organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. An official said Klaus is considered one of the world's top pilots with over 22,000 hours of flying experience.
Schrodt has entered many FAI World Grand Prix aerobatic competitions and has been ranked highly. And, of course, he won first place for solo aerobatics at the 21st FAI World Grand Prix held in Al Ain in this January.
Schrodt has also been the German national aerobatic champion for many years and won the 2001 Freestyle World Aerobatic Champion as well.
