Former WWE wrestler and reality TV star Chyna was prescribed various medication before her untimely death, her manager has revealed.

According to her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, the late wrestling icon, whose real name was Joanie Laurer, was taking prescription drugs including sleeping medication and medication for anxiety, reports eonline.com.

However, Anzaldo mentioned that they were legally prescribed by a doctor and pharmacists.

The coroner’s office is investigating all aspects of the time and cause of Chyna’s death, who passed away on Wednesday.

Chyna appeared in several TV shows over the last two decades including Surreal Life and Celebrity Rehab. She also made appearances on 3rd Rock from the Sun and The Nick Cannon Show.

She also appeared in several adult films. She later moved to Japan to teach English.
