For long-time Dubai resident, Altas T. Ali, it’s a love that goes back to his school days, when he watched Godfather, Cinema Paradiso and Life is Beautiful.
At 40, Ali is ready with his first film, Lavender, in Malayalam.
This romantic action drama features Rahman, Nishan and Iranian theatre actor Elham Mirza in the lead.
“It’s a triangular love story,” said Ali.
Lavender is scheduled to release on May 15.
