Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin is sad that the National-award winning multilingual film Court is not releasing in Bengaluru.
The makers of the movie stated that the film is not hitting the theatres of the southern state as they find the content of the Chaitanya Tamhane’s film “sensitive, political, and risky”.
“Shocked, dismayed but mostly sad that @CourtTheFilm is not showing in cinemas in Bangalore because of regional politics,” the Margarita With A Straw star posted on Twitter.
The courtroom drama has, however, released in more than 150 screens across India on April 17.
