They're alive!
An interesting fashion mime show marked the opening of the third Amir Adnan and FNKAsia boutique in the UAE last week.

Fashion comes to life at the latest Amir Adnan and FNKAsia store.
An interesting fashion mime show marked the opening of the third Amir Adnan and FNKAsia boutique in the UAE last week.
Well-known Pakistani designer couple Amir and Huma Adnan welcomed the guests on a red carpet laid outside the store located in the Maysoon Building opposite Lamcy Plaza.
Crescendo
Inside the store were what looked like several mannequins. As the guests watched from outside, the mannequins slowly came to life, dancing gracefully to music.
Their movements became more animated as the beat became faster, ending with a catwalk show as the music reached a crescendo.
The models, belonging to various nationalities, showcased the spring-summer 2008 collections from the Amir Adnan men's wear and Huma's FNKAsia label.
The Amir Adnan collection for the season comprised sherwanis in a fresh new cut teamed with jeans. The bright palette ranged from turquoise, midnight blue and burgundy to shades of gold.
Empire line
FNKAsia's fusion evening wear collection included long empire line, pleated tops inspired by the traditional costumes of the Kuchi's living in the border areas of Afghanistan. These were teamed with jamevar capris, knit wear churidars and leggings, and matching scarves.
The fashion mime was choreographed by well-known Pakistani dancer and television star Juni Zeyad. Tani from Haven Depilex provided the styling and make-up for the show.
