The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi residents’ offer has returned – offering thrill seekers living across the UAE cut-price fun. Residents can now enjoy all of the park’s attractions at a special discounted price of Dh195 during weekdays and Dh235 at weekends.
And if one theme park is not enough, they can enjoy double the fun, gaining entry to both Ferrari World and nearby Yas Waterworld for a special rate of Dh225 during weekdays and Dh275 during weekends.
The offer is valid until February 28 for bronze admission tickets. Guests must present a valid Emirates ID at the park’s ticket counters in order to claim the offer.
Here are five rides at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi that you cannot afford to miss if you plan to go there:
Faster than an F1 car
Strap in, put your goggles on and prepare to be blasted 240km/h in 4.9 seconds on Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest rollercoaster. Using a hydraulic launch system employed on aircraft carriers, riders are catapulted round the track in 92 seconds. Get ready for an adrenalin rush at 4.8Gs!.
Race towards the sky
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s newest rollercoaster, Turbo Track, features two zero gravity moments as it falls back to earth, after launching riders 64metres up to the highest point of Yas Island, above the theme park’s iconic red roof. So if you’re ready to take on gravity, now is the time to prove it!
Get ready to fly
Designed to replicate the experience of flying in a biplane, a fixed-wing aircraft featuring two wings stacked on top of the other, Flying Aces ride is inspired by the story behind Ferrari’s logo.
Board your military themed biplane and feel your pulse race as you fly through the world’s highest non-inverted rollercoaster loop and hit speeds of up to 120km/h. The ride holds three world records: the fastest inclined cable lift at 29km, and the steepest at 51 degrees, in addition to the tallest non-inverted loop at 52m high.
Ready, set, race!
Budding F1 drivers can receive their first taste of life in the fast lane at Junior Grand Prix. After watching an educational film, the mini drivers receive instruction from experts before they get behind of the wheel of a small 430 GT Spider, which is 40 per cent of the car’s actual size. The course features traffic signs, stoplights and roads with lane dividers to give them a taste of what it is like to drive on the roads.
Soar over Italy!
Take your seat, be elevated high into the dome of the multi-sensory simulator at Viaggio in Italia, and soar over spectacular Italian landscape. Inspired by the legendary open-road endurance Mille Miglia race, you’ll glide high over the mountains and villages, and through the cities and vineyards of one of the world’s most beautiful counties that crafted one of the world’s most beautiful cars.
