Trevor Noah will return to Dubai for the launch of Comedy Central on pay TV network OSN.
On May 7, at the Burj Khalifa, during a private cocktail reception, Noah will be joined by Saudi Comedian Fahad Al Butairi to celebrate the addition of Comedy Central HD — a channel created exclusively for the Middle East — to OSN on channel 207.
“I am looking forward to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah debuting in the Middle East,” said Noah in a press release. “I’m excited to be in Dubai to push the big red button that makes Comedy Central go live on OSN. That is how channels go live, right?”
Noah took over The Daily Show, a political satire programme that airs on Comedy Central, from former host Jon Stewart late last year. He performed a stand-up show in Dubai a month later.
His upcoming event will not be ticketed or open to the public.
