Sharjah: Skyline University College (SUC) in cooperation with Sharjah’s Labour Standards Development Authority (LSDA) organised an iftar and cricket match for 250 labourers last Thursday. The cricket match, played under the floodlights of SUC’s dedicated cricket ground, followed the iftar. The event also brought together SUC alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff regardless of their cultural or religious beliefs.

Salem Al Qaseer, chairman, LSDA, said: “The contribution of this community iftar is part of a collaboration with various government authorities and agencies, in response to the directives of the Ruler of Sharjah to care for working people and reward them for their contribution to building the infrastructure of the country.”
