Abu Dhabi: The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has announced that during the first quarter of 2013, the Fund financed 69 projects totalling Dh51.4 million, which increased the number of funded projects since the Fund’s establishment to 541, with a total amount of Dh856 million distributed all over the emirates.

Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, CEO of the Khalifa Fund, said in a press release issued on Sunday: “Since its establishment and up to the end of the first quarter of 2013, the Fund approved the financing of 82 projects under the Khutwa programme, 295 projects under its Bedaya programme and 117 projects under Zeyada programme. This is in addition to 10 projects under Tasneea programme and 30 projects through the microfinance programme which has a social frame to support Emiratis who have home-based business and need small capital.”
