Abu Dhabi: Jazeera Airways reported a 26 per cent increase in its total passenger number in August, and an increase in number of passengers on 12 routes served during the month.
The Kuwaiti low-fare airline also reported a 19 per cent increase in passenger number on routes to Istanbul, Beirut, and Amman driven by the summer holiday season. The airline’s routes to Gulf cities saw an increase in passengers of 29 per cent from August 2013.
Meanwhile, passenger numbers to Egypt rose 36 per cent.
