Jay Z is gearing up for a get-out-the-vote concert in Ohio ahead of the November 8 presidential election, a Clinton campaign aide has confirmed.

The rapper would be targeting his message to black voters in the state with the idea of mobilising Democratic voters on election day.

No date has been set, but BuzzFeed News has stated that the concert will be held in Cleveland.

Other outlets have named Cleveland Cavaliers star player LeBron James as a possibility for a guest appearance after the Ohio native endorsed Clinton earlier this month. He outlined his support in an Op-Ed piece published Oct. 2 by Business Insider.

Election analysts have said that strong turnout among black voters in Ohio would strongly benefit Clinton’s presidential campaign against Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Elsewhere, Katy Perry, who sang at the Democratic National Convention in July, is set to rally Clinton supporters in another battleground state, Pennsylvania. The singer will perform at a free concert in Philadelphia on November 5 with Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Lopez.
