UAE President receives Ramadan greetings

Shaikh Khalifa sends congratulatory cables to leaders and heads of state of Arab and Muslim countries

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent congratulatory cables to leaders and heads of states of Arab and Muslim countries on the advent of Ramadan.

Shaikh Khalifa expressed his wishes for good health, happiness, and prosperity for the Arab and Muslim nation.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar cables.

Shaikh Khalifa and Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa exchanged greetings on the occasion of Ramadan during a telephone conversation on Monday night.

They expressed their best wishes for prosperity for the peoples of the two brotherly countries, and their wishes for enduring security, safety and stability for Arab and Muslim nations.

Shaikh Khalifa also received greetings on the occasion of Ramadan from Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

Shaikh Khalifa received cables from Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, and Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain.

In the cables, the Rulers expressed their best wishes for Shaikh Khalifa.

Shaikh Khalifa also received a cable from Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council. Al Murr sent similar cables to Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid, and Rulers of the Emirates.
