    4.55pm: If it's not the orange of Holland or the red of Spain, then people here in Johannesburg are wearing their Bafana Bafana shirts as we gear up for the final. The atmosphere is just as electric as when the tournament kicked off a month ago. Read more...

    Last sip of Durban

    2.45pm: While thousands of fans make their way to Durban for tonight's semi-final, I unfortunately am leaving the city and on my way to Johannesburg. My flight is delayed and I'm hoping that I get to Joburg in time to see the match. After all, Spain vs Germany has all the makings of a classic and I don't want to miss a single minute. Read more...

    Cape Town promises mother of all parties

    Cape Town is gearing up for its biggest football match yet.

    Tonight's semi-final clash between Uruguay and the Netherlands is the last world cup match in the Mother City and promises to be a cracker. Just as they did in Durban, thousands of orange clad Dutch fans have flocked to Cape Town for tonight's match. The Dutch were impressive in their quarter-final against Brazil and this could be the year that they finally win football's ultimate prize. Read more...
