Dubai: The Recycled Art Exhibition, popularly known as the 'Re-Art' Exhibition, has attracted thousands of visitors to BurJuman, a key sponsor of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2008, over the past week.

The international exhibition displays works of artists, designers, and craftsmen from 15 nations. The works are made from different waste materials like aluminum cans, scrap metal, plastic, or paper waste.

The exhibition aims to promote the thought of sustainability in industrial societies and inspire industry and consumers to focus on good design and products made by recycling materials. It also promotes low waste output and low energy input. The exhibition concludes on August 11.

Modhesh Fun City, sponsored this year by du, the integrated telecom service provider in the UAE, presents children the unique opportunity to meet their favourite cartoon character, Modhesh, and pose for photographs.

With only two more weeks left for another grand edition of DSS to come to a close, Modhesh Fun City is all decked up to receive visitors till August 22.

Apart from the thirty zones and numerous play areas for children, Modhesh Fun City is also preparing for the new academic year in schools throughout Dubai by featuring all school accessories for school-going children.
