Pillow party a huge hit at Modhesh Fun City

Dubai: Dubai's first public pillow party has got off to a great start with children and adults joining in the fun at Modhesh Fun City.
The fun added to the thrills at the key venue of Dubai Summer Surprises.
The pillow party takes place in a large demarcated area. Three performers in their pyjamas come out with a bed and place it in the middle of the area and fall asleep.
As soon as the crowds build up, the performers wake up and the party starts.
One of the pyjama-clad pillow fighters gets the supply of weapons two trunks of soft pillows and the party begins to some fast-paced music playing in the background.
The pillow parties have drawn a great response from visitors to Modhesh Fun City, being a unique event that gets the audience to participate.
Everyone ends up joining in the fun: playing and knocking each other with down-filled soft pillows. And this is one party where you don't need an invitation anyone can join in the fun by just grabbing a pillow and playing with it.
The event is held daily between 6.30 and 7pm until June 30 and only over the weekends from next week including Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until the end of DSS.
The venue for the pillow party is outside the Sports Zone and Bim Bum Bam (Music is Fun) pavilion in Modhesh Fun City, Hall 5 of DWTC. The event will run every day during the first week of Dubai Summer Surprises and will be held from Wednesday to Friday in the ensuing weeks.
