- DC Comic watches for Dh20 each at Virgin.
I was only going to window shop at the Dubai Mall during the weekend, but some offers were so irrisistible that I finally caved in.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted these DC Comic watches at Virgin. It's such a super deal for Dh20 (they were Dh109) that I bought four faster than a speeding bullet.
Wonder deals
Disney Fashion is probably going to save me the trouble of having to wait until my next Disneyland visit to shop for memorabilia. I saw this shirt for half the price (Dh73) and a pair of Mickey Mouse slippers for Dh38.
Keeping tabs
The first time I saw the Archos tablet was at Gitex some five years ago. There was no iPad or other tablets for comparison back then, and I thought - wow, this concept is going to be revolutionary! If only Archos had the marketing genius that other brands have, it wouldn't be selling its entry-level tablet for Dh299 at Sharaf DG.
