Festive Dubai streets during DSF 2013
The areas in Dubai which will be abuzz with activities throughout DSF
An open air area on the banks of the Dubai Creek, adjacent to the mall and luxury hotels near the Al Badiya golf club area. A recent addition to the list of DSF venues. The highlight of the Festival Promenade at DSF 2013 will be the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp, which will provide an authentic experience of Bedouin desert life in different Arab countries.
Al Seef Street
This creek-side boulevard will be abuzz with a myriad of activities all through DSF 2013. Al Seef Street has always been a major point of attraction in the DSF. This year it will be the stage for the DSF Carnival, the “World of Souvenirs” and the “Tea Oasis” among the major new events.
Al Rigga Street
At the heart of old Dubai’s busy and bustling Deira district lies Al Rigga Street, a heady mix of high-street shopping, residences, hotels, cafes, an array of gastronomical choices and the outdoor life that the city. The area will also host a Sports Zone and a Skill Games area.
Creek Park
The Creek Park will assume special prominence during the DSF 2013 celebrations as the favourite venue for children when it hosts the Kids Festival Park from January 3 to February 3.
Downtown Dubai
The most prestigious area in Dubai, which has the most iconic architecture in the entire world, the Burj Khalifa, will host a new addition to the venues of the Dubai Shopping Festival, including fashion shows and events such as “Creations”, the Street Fashion Show, the Biggest Sampling/Makeover.
Heritage Village
The Heritage and Diving Village is a little piece of Dubai frozen in time that depicts the way life functioned in the emirate in the hoary past. A living museum of traditional life will be a beehive of activity with stalls of Emirati food and artefacts during the festival.
