IF IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY TOMORROW

If you’re wrestling with issues involving who’s responsible for what, that’s no surprise. With so much in transition, in the world around you, in the lives of others and in your own life, the time has come to give serious thought to what’s rewarding and, even more, what isn’t. In certain situations, you’ve been trying to convince yourself certain arrangements are acceptable when, in truth, they’re not. Give this serious consideration. You’ll be glad you did.

Aries March 20 – April 18

For ages you’ve been trying to untangle seemingly unimportant misunderstandings. Others said you were wasting time on such matters but, deep down, you’ve sensed these would move swiftly from minor to major, and you’d be glad you dealt with those details. Events will soon show how right you were.

Taurus April 19 – May 19

Last week your ruler Venus moved into the most strategic portion of your chart, beginning a cycle that will involve questioning those matters you’re usually able to ignore. However, with so much of the world around you shifting, the time has come to review some and entirely rethink others.

Gemini May 20 – June 20

Your ruler Mercury is about ideas and discussion, so when it’s retrograde or in reverse movement, as it has been since 9 April, even the simplest of conversations can become confused. While it resumes forward motion Wednesday, untangling some of that confusion could take longer that you’d have anticipated.

Cancer June 21 – July 21

Tempting as it is to tackle certain increasingly tense issues, you’d be better off biding your time. Not only are the facts unclear, once you begin talking things over, you’ll realise you’re as unsure about your feelings and, thus, your priorities. For now, reflect. The resulting insights will prove amazingly enlightening.

Leo July 22 – August 21

The New Moon may have been nearly a week ago but the ideas it triggered were so abundant and promising you’ve had no idea what to respond to first. Actually, it doesn’t matter. While they may seem unrelated, the more involved you get, the clearer the connections between them will be.

Virgo August 22 – September 21

Recent discussions about new ideas weren’t just promising, they were more exciting than anything you’ve talked about for ages. Yet now they’re falling apart. Don’t worry. This particular alignment took place while Mercury was retrograde. It occurs again, next week, when Mercury’s moving forward and so, too, will those plans.

Libra September 22 – October 22

As much as you’d like to help those who’re struggling with tricky situations, certain individuals seem to expect you to do it all. And, unless you’re very clear about what you have in mind, that’s what they’ll expect. Uncaring as it seems, you’re better off steering clear of it all.

Scorpio October 23 – November 21

Even if you’re aware you’re living out the final days of Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which ends on the 3rd, you could still misjudge the timing of events or misunderstand what others are saying. Knowing that, take it slowly. Adopt an easy-going approach and you’ll realise what seem pressing issues aren’t all that urgent.

Sagittarius November 22 – December 20

Being a Sagittarius, you’ve a far better understanding than most that even seemingly fixed arrangements must sometimes reshape themselves, take on an entirely new form or even come to an end. So while the changes you’re witnessing don’t bother you, they’re upsetting others. Be sympathetic but say no more. You’ll only be misunderstood.

Capricorn December 21 – January 18

Ordinarily you’d regard last minute changes as a nuisance, if not a real problem. However, with Mercury having been retrograde since 9 April, and just concluding its cycle of reverse movement on 3 May, you’ve probably become so accustomed to sudden changes that you’ll barely notice those coming your way.

Aquarius January 19 – February 17

If you feel betwixt and between, it’s no surprise. With Mercury meeting your ruler Uranus twice, once while retrograde, on the 28th and next week, having resumed forward motion, on 10 May, both events and your perspective are bound to shift. Knowing that, look and listen but avoid lasting commitments.

Pisces February 18 – March 19

This week’s about un-doing. Over the past months you’ve agreed to a range of plans, some yours, a few the result of others’ ideas. While in some cases they’ll survive, you’re becoming increasingly aware most won’t and, in fact, need to be got rid of or ended. And soon.
