Dubai: A university in Switzerland has honoured Saif Bin Markhan Al Ketbi, director general of the Office of the Crown Prince of Dubai, with a certificate of Honorary Doctor of the University — “Financial Management and Management of the Government Organisation” in recognition of his distinguished efforts in governmental.

Manuela Di Martino, president of the L.U.de.S. University of Human Sciences and Technology of Lugano, said the certificate offered to Al Ketbi is to recognise his efforts in the government field. Di Martino also hailed the role and efforts of the UAE in supporting scientific research.

Al Ketbi dedicated the honorary degree to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, in appreciation of their unlimited support for education and development in the UAE and for their efforts in achieving progress for the country, and to achieve UAE Vision 2021 “We want to be among the best countries in the world by 2021”.
