Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and Patron of Al Maktoum Foundation, has approved Al Maktoum Foundation’s budget of Dh95 million for 2012-2013.

The budget will support a number of charity bodies in Dubai with Dh50 million. It will also support schools in 28 African countries, as well as Al Maktoum College of Higher Studies in Dundee, Scotland, the Islamic Centre in Dublin and the completion of the second phase of the development of Al Maktoum mosque in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, known as the Mosque of peace.

Mirza Al Sayegh, Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, said Al Maktoum College of Higher Studies in Dundee is prepared to receive 56 female students from UAE and Qatar universities, in addition to six employees from the Dubai Courts to participate for the first time in the 16th session of the Multicultural Programme and Leadership Skills.
