Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, attended the graduation ceremony of 77 employees of the Government Polices Expert Programme recently.
The ceremony was held by the General Secretariat of Dubai Executive Council to honour the graduates who represent 30 government bodies.
Shaikh Hamdan reiterated that the tangible development witnessed in all aspects of government work in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular embodies the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. “This vision makes it incumbent upon all of us to cope with the latest developments in the world,” he said.
He also reviewed the updated version of the Government Policies Guide and the tool to assess the impact of policies based on scientific data that take into account the privacy and needs of the Dubai community when preparing and implementing policies.
“The Government Policies Guide establishes the excellence approach as a general framework for government action in Dubai and promotes services in an innovative and innovative manner that ensures sustainability of resources. This is to achieve strategic objectives aligned with the UAE vision and the Dubai Plan 2021.
“The past years have witnessed remarkable development in the government’s work system and its outputs have contributed to enhancing Dubai’s position on the global map as a leading, ambitious and global city,” Shaikh Hamdan said.
“When Dubai Government announces that the well-being of its people is a top priority, it does so while it is fully aware that it raises expectations in an unprecedented manner and that it should provide the basis for achieving this goal. Therefore, we seek to improve our government capabilities to contribute effectively to achieving the sustainable development and support the achievement of the strategic objectives of the UAE and Dubai.”
