Could 2017 be the year you win a car at the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF)?
With the 22nd edition of the annual retail extravaganza barely two months away, tickets for its biggest prize event, the Infiniti Mega Raffle, will begin tomorrow, November 1.
The highly popular attraction of the annual DSF, will be held from December 26 to February 4, giving one raffle ticket holder the opportunity to take home a huge prize every day – one Infiniti QX70 plus Dh150,000 in cash. In addition, five DSF shoppers have the chance to win weekly cash prizes of Dh50,000 each.
UAE residents and visitors looking to win must buy a raffle ticket, priced at Dh200, from any of a variety of outlets. These include select shopping malls, Dubai Metro stations, Enoc and Eppco petrol stations and Zoom stores. Winning tickets will be drawn at 10pm each day, and announced in a live telecast on Sama Dubai TV.
The much-awaited promotion plays an important part in creating awareness of the festival with its ability to change lives with luxury prizes, said Abdalla Hassan Al Ameeri, Director, Raffles and Promotions, DFRE. “The Infiniti Mega Raffle will ensure that during DSF 2017, residents and visitors will have many opportunities to win big as part of an extraordinary shopping experience,” he added.
The campaign will be run in cooperation with Arabian Automobiles, the flagship company of the AW Rostamani Group, and ENOC, both Strategic Partners of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, organisers of the DSF and other emirate-wide festivals.
“Our strategic partnership [has been] instrumental in placing Dubai firmly in the Premier League of leading global tourism destinations and commercial hubs. This partnership also serves to acknowledge the prominent role we play in the Dubai Shopping Festival, which has a well-established success rate, stretching back to the event’s inception in 1996,” says Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles – the flagship company of the AW Rostamani Group and the exclusive distributor of Infiniti in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates. “This event, along with our participation through a number of offers and the Infiniti Mega Raffle, provides a great global platform to enhance the city’s image and establish it amongst the foremost shopping and entertainment destinations in the world.”
Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, described the company’s partnership with Dubai Tourism as a testament of the importance of collaboration between national companies to achieve the UAE leaders’ vision to build a smart city with happy people.
As part of the festival’s strategy of offering an enriching shopping experience, combined with entertainment and winnings, several prize draws are held as part of the DSF, including the Nissan Grand Raffle and draws run by the Dubai Shopping Malls Group and the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, as well as events held by other retailers.
