E! presenter Giuliana Rancic has been announced as the host of PopCon in Dubai, a popular culture convention to take place October 27-29 at the Dubai Outlet Mall.
Rancic will host beauty panel discussions alongside make-up artists Etienne Ortega and Chrisspy Makeup and social media personality The Real Fouz.
“I am thrilled to be part of PopCon and even more excited that it’s happening for the first time in Dubai. It’s going to be a buzzing three-day extravaganza that will include pop-culture elements mixed with lifestyle and beauty trends to satisfy all tastes for this diverse cosmopolitan city,” said Rancic in a press release.
PopCon is open to the public and free of charge. Registration is requested and can be done by emailing signup@popcon.com, or filling a form on popcon.com.
However, workshops, which are limited to 200 people, will range between Dh2,000-4,000 in price, including meet and greets, a bag of make-up ‘goodies’ and priority seating options.
PopCon was first announced in July, described as an amalgamation of sports conventions, beauty conventions and pop conventions. Celebrities from Marvel, Disney, Sanrio and MMA Fighting have been promised, but no announcements have been made.
