Emirati wins Dh 100,000 for best decorated car during National Day

A specialized chose ten of the best decorated cars from 350 cars from all over the UAE which paraded on Abu Dhabi cornice (at ADACH celebration location) during three days from Wednesday to Friday

Abu Dhabi: An Emirati won Dh 100,000  in a competition for the  best decorated car during the National Day celebrations organized by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).

Mohammad Hassan Al Marzouqi   won the first prize and  Hamad Hassan Al Ameri won the second prize with Dh90000.  Hamad Mubarak Ali won the third prize with Dh80000. The other seven winners bagged the cash prizes ranging from Dh 70,000 to Dh 10,000

A specialized committee has chosen the ten best decorated cars from 350 cars from all over the UAE which paraded on Abu Dhabi cornice (at ADACH celebration location) during three days from Wednesday to Friday.

ADACH has decided to give cash prize for the winners of the car decoration competition  every year during the National Day celebrations. The competition aims to encourage civilized ways to celebrate the national day.

Abdullah Al Ameri, director of culture and arts department at ADACH said :“The committee was seeking creativity in decorating the cars and the use of artistic ideas to show the love  towards the country. Most of the decorated cars showed the spirit of the nation and their pride to belong to the UAE”.

About 640000 people attended the programmes organized by as part of the  National Day celebrations in the emirate. Several programmes for children and adults  including  the live concerts of Arab singers were conducted  in Abu Dhabi , Al Ain and Al Gharbia (Western Region).

About 20000 people attended the cultural and heritage activities on Abu Dhabi Corniche and 120000 people enjoyed the live concerts in the whole emirate of Abu Dhabi- 65000 in Abu Dhabi, 30000 in Al Ain and 2000 in the Western Region.

The world largest fire works was witnessed by more than half million people in the entire  Abu Dhabi emirate.
