Gaza: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) on Wednesday distributed 1,200 relief baskets to those affected by events taking place in Gaza, including 500 food baskets, 500 health kits and 200 packs of cleaning products.
Emmad Abu Al Laban, Director of the ERC Office in Gaza, said the assistance comes as part of the ERC’s intensive programme to ease the suffering of Gazans, who have been living in a dire situation for the past 45 days.
Abu Al Laban said that the UAE’s field hospital in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, is providing treatment to injured people and those with chronic diseases, who require special medical attention.
