Global Village launched its 15th edition on Wednesday and it will run until February 28.

Arabian Centre, Al Khawaneej. All events are free.
Al Freej Cartoon Show on November 15. Show starts at 6pm.
Eid Card Making Workshop on November 15 and 16 from 6pm to 9pm.
Pearl Ornaments Workshop on November 17 and 18 from 6pm to 9pm.
Plate & Pot Painting Workshop on November 19 and 20 from 6pm to 9pm. Entry is free.

Aviation Club: Iranian singer Ebrahim Hamedi takes the stage at the Tennis Stadium on November 18.
On November 19, singers Shadmehr Aghili, Amir Tataloo and Siavash Ghomeshi will entertain audiences at the Tennis Stadium, Aviation Club. Tickets for each concert are priced at Dh600-730. For more details, call Ahlan Dubai 600 5555.

Downtown Burj Khalifa: Singer Mohammad Abdo will thrill audiences at the Steps Tower, Emaar Boulevard, on November 18. Tickets Dh50 and Dh100. For more details, call Ahlan Dubai 600 5555.

BurJuman: Eid fiesta entertaining visitors with a parade of entertainers and musicians performing three shows daily including the Slinky & Octopus. Mall visitors can also enjoy live music performed by a saxophonist and pianist in the evenings throughout Eid from November 16 to 19.

Deira City Centre: Acrobatic and comic shows in addition to roaming solo performers performing three shows a day while the Clown and Comedy Theatre Show will take the stage twice a day. Visitors and shoppers will also be treated to carnivals and solo performers. Performances from 5pm until 10pm from November 16 to 19.

Dubai Dolphinarium: Water Magic Extravaganza, featuring clowns, jugglers and mascots adding to the excitement of the dolphin shows. Special shows at 11am, 3pm and 6pm until November 20. For more details, call 04-3369773.

Dubai Festival City: Eid fireworks will light up the Dubai sky during from November 16 to 19, commencing at 8pm.
Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra performs live on November 16,17 and 19 at 6pm.
Musical Shows from November 16 to 19 from 4pm until 10pm.

Dubai Marina Mall: Noel Lambert Touring Puppet Theatre brings The Puppet Circus, a show for children and parents alike, to the Dome Atrium. There will be nine shows daily from November 16 to 19, between 3.30pm and 9pm. Favourite Things will offer face painting for children before each show.

Global Village: Cultural performances and fireworks extravaganza, from 4pm on November 15 until midnight on November 21. For more details, call Ahlan Dubai 600 5555.

Madinat Jumeirah: Dhoom Dubai 2010 featuring Bollywood music director Pritam and singers Neeraj Shridhar and Mohit Chauhan at Madinat Jumeirah Arena on November 19. Tickets are Dh125, Dh200, Dh500 and Dh1,000. For more details, call 04-3666540.

Mall of the Emirates: Solo musicians and roaming musical shows will be staged in the mall. Musicians playing on the flute, saxophone, violin, oud, and qanoon will also entertain visitors to the mall from November 16 to 19. Performances from 4-9.30pm.

Mercato: Hospitability tent open from November 15 for mall visitors to exchange seasonal greetings on Eid days. Arabic coffee and henna are on offer.
On 16th and 17th November, traditional Emirati Yola performances from 5-9 pm.

Mirdif City Centre: Heritage zone incorporating the local elements of a traditional Eid celebration through exhibits, cuisine, and music. Live demonstrations of henna designing, bread-making, and arts and crafts, in addition to a hospitality tent to welcome shoppers and families. Traditional dances and games will be organised on a daily basis between 4 and 10pm. Dabke and tannoura dances will be staged at the mall and Emarati, Moroccan, and Indian traditional bands will perform to crowds on all Eid days.

The Walk: Two hospitality kiosks will be dishing out traditional sweets, coffee and dates Teddy Bear Picnic takes place on 19 and 20 November, twice daily at 2pm and 4pm, featuring ‘Francoise the French Bear’, educating children in a fun and interactive way about travel. Plus, a bouncy castle, football shoot games and market stalls.
Tickets for the show and the picnic are priced at Dh35 at the night market on Wednesday and Thursday evening, or can be purchased on the event days.

Sharjah Expo Centre: Eid Al Adha Mega Sales Fair featuring a wide range of consumer goods from electronics to furniture, fashion to jewellery, crockery to chandeliers plus a traditional food court, amusement fun rides and shows at Sharjah Expo Centre. Sale continues until November 20.

Sharjah Maritime Museum: Folk art shows a poetry evening with poet Rashid Sharar and competitions on 17th November. Events start at 4pm.
