Abu Dhabi: Emirates Classification Society (TASNEEF) signed a contract with Drydocks World that stipulates Tasneef will provide the classification and maritime surveying services to Drydocks fleet which is composed of approximately 11 ships including a marine excavator.

So far, three ships have been thoroughly surveyed. They are Shindagha-5, Umm Suqeem & Zabeel-4. As for the rest of the fleet, it is scheduled to be subject to classification and surveying after confirming that it complies with all the classification rules, International regulations and UAE flag statutory requirements.

Moreover, Khamis Juma Bu Amim, Chairman of Drydocks World and Maritime World and CEO emphasised that signing this contract signifies a practical embodiment of the strategy currently followed by Drydocks World which intends to provide premium services to the maritime sector as part of its customer-centred approach. Consequently, Drydocks World conforms to the internationally accredited system of quality control management in all of its activities and services and has won global awards in the field of quality control which contributes to increasing its customer base both regionally and globally.
