Sharjah: A 32-year-old-man survived a fall from a three-storey balcony of a building located in Sharjah Industrial Area, an official told Gulf News on Tuesday.
Police said the Indian man identified as M.P. fell from his apartment’s balcony around 12 noon on Monday and was admitted to Al Qasimi Hospital in a serious condition. Doctors attending him said the man sustained fractures but his condition was stable.
The man was reported to be under the influence of alcohol when he fell from the balcony, and it is not clear whether it was an attempt to commit suicide.
The man is currently under the watch of a police guard. Industrial Area police have launched an investigation into the incident.
