Dubai: To enhance professional customer care, the Dubai Health Authority held its monthly initiative ‘Leaders at your Service’, the fifth session at the DHA headquarters. This service empowers the customer to directly submit feedback, give suggestions and register complaints about DHA services with designated leaders.

Giving an insight into the working of this initiative, Dr Manal Al Taryam, CEO of Primary Healthcare Sector at the DHA, said: “This initiative provides customers with a direct platform to communicate with the leaders of the DHA and give their suggestions, feedback or complaints. All calls received during the two-hour live session are recorded and promptly followed up. In addition, the DHA has several platforms for customers to communicate with us.”

Dr Taryam, Dr Amal Bahroun, Acting-Director of Healthcare Centres department at the DHA and Dr Rafia Al Raie, from the primary healthcare sector at the DHA,engaged with customers on various topics related to services provided at DHA primary health-care centres. Highlighting various specialised services available across DHA including maternity, geriatric and child health services, Dr Taryam said customers could avail of the services of a hospital during an urgent or emergency situation. “Otherwise the first-point-of-contact for patients should be a primary health-care centre, two of which [Al Barsha and Nad Al Hamar] are open 24 hours a day.”
