'Pin' the blame
Survey shows many people may be too careless with their ATM cards and pin numbers

A poll of 100 people conducted recently by Dubai-based research firm Synovate for RAKBank revealed the reckless habits people have in remembering their PIN, or personal information number in the UAE.
Unsafe practices are commonplace, the poll showed, though it did not reveal how many customers faced problems as a result of such habits. Anil Chander, Head of Cards at the bank, said the poll findings will be used to promote greater care in card handling among the general public and increase awareness of risky habits.
