Special air packages for Ramadan and Eid holidays
Airlines and travel companies are offering special airfares and packages to UAE residents during Ramadan and the upcoming Eid holidays.

Dubai: Airlines and travel companies are offering special airfares and packages to UAE residents during Ramadan and the upcoming Eid holidays.
Malaysia Airlines, Luft-hansa and Dnata Holidays are among those taking advantage of the seasonal business opportunities.
Dnata Holidays, an Emirates Group company, has special packages for travellers to 12 destinations across Europe, Asia and the Middle East on Eid Al Fitr.
They include, Egypt, Italy, Jordan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Thailand and Turkey.
For these countries, prices start from Dh3,145 for a four-night stay, including flights.
The Oman package is priced at a low of Dh1,685 for three nights.
Nathan Adams, manager of Dnata Holidays, said, "Travellers can pick and choose from a vast selection of premium hotels across some of the world's most special holiday destinations. These can be combined with our wide choice of airlines.
"Our range of special Eid breaks ensures there is something for everyone, with our offers including up to 50 per cent off your stay, free nights and free room upgrades," Adams said.
Island resorts
Malaysia Airlines is offering many special packages on flights from Dubai to Beirut and East Asian destinations.
Return airfares from Dubai to Beirut start from Dh500, while special airfares for travel to Manila and Cebu via Kuala Lumpur start from Dh1,670.
The airline is giving a choice of packages to two Malaysian resort islands of Redang or Tioman via Kuala Lumpur. A four- to five-day package starts at Dh3,550.
Germany's Lufthansa has a very extensive network, covering 31 destinations in Europe for Ramadan and lasting until mid-October.
Peter Pollak, general manager of passenger sales in the UAE, said the airline's special fares emphasise the company's commitment to the UAE customers.
The German airline's offers, starting at Dh1,500 can be obtained if purchased before September 30.
