Lavish Sixth Senses resort opens in Oman
The 32 million Omani riyal (Dh305.7 million) Sixth Senses resort was opened at Zhighi coastal village in the Governorate of Musandam, 500 kilometres north-west of Muscat.

Ahmad Bin Abdul Nabi Macki, National Economy Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council formally opened the resort, which comprises 82 chalets of various sizes, and an anchorage to serve both guests and fishermen at Zhighi village.

The Sixth Senses resort is a unique resort in the Sultanate in terms of its design, building materials and its unique location.
The design of the resort has incorporated Omani house components, palm tree trunks, stones and mud.
Citizens of the Wilayat performed folklore dances and recited poetry during the opening ceremony.
