New Hyatt China has revealed its expansion projects across China as it aims to increase market share, particularly among Middle East travellers throughout the summer period.
Dubai: New Hyatt China has revealed its expansion projects across China as it aims to increase market share, particularly among Middle East travellers throughout the summer period.
Hyatt's new property openings for 2008 include Grand Hyatt Guangzhou in April, Hyatt Regency Jing Jin City Resort and Spa (Phase II) in July, Park Hyatt Beijing and Park Hyatt Shanghai in autumn.
"With Hyatt properties available in key cities across China, we look forward to welcoming a growing number of Middle East travellers looking for exclusive, luxury accommodation. Summer is set to be a busy period for cities like Beijing during the Olympics period but we expect most people from the Middle East visiting China will also be looking to travel to other major cities," said Thierry Bertin, VP Sales & Marketing, Hyatt International C South West Asia.
Situated in Beijing's Central Business District, Park Hyatt Beijing is part of the Beijing Yintai Centre, the tallest skyscraper on Chang'an Avenue and a reflection of modern China.
Park Hyatt Shanghai, due to open in autumn 2008, occupies the 79th to 93rd floors of the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), otherwise known as "The Vertical Complex City". The 101-storey building will be one of the tallest in the world, making Park Hyatt Shanghai the highest hotel in the world.
Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, which opened its doors in April this year, is the first international hotel in Guangzhou featuring a sky lobby with spectacular views across the Pearl River and the Central Business District C Pearl River New Town.
Hyatt Regency Jing Jin City Resort and Spa is located in Baodi, a hot spring resort 43 miles southeast of Beijing and 43 miles north of Tianjin.
