Holiday Inn Express eyes short-stay visitors to Dubai
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), in partnership with Ishraq Gulf Real Estate Holding Co., on Sunday opened Dubai's newest limited service hotel, delivering 171 additional rooms for the burgeoning short-stay frequent business travellers.

Dubai: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), in partnership with Ishraq Gulf Real Estate Holding Co., on Sunday opened Dubai's newest limited service hotel, delivering 171 additional rooms for the burgeoning short-stay frequent business travellers.
Holiday Inn Express Dubai Safa Park, the first property to begin trading under the brand's new name and the second Express property to open in Dubai within a year, is located on Shaikh Zayed Road.
The hotel features 171 contemporary style bedrooms, modern meeting facilities, food and beverage outlets and mini gymnasium. Each room is also furnished with a pillow menu, enhanced en-suite facilities with a power-shower.
John Bamsey, chief operating officer of IHG Middle East and Africa, said Holiday Inn Express would open 20 more hotels across the Middle East in the next three to five years.
The company plans to open another Holiday Inn Express in the Jumeirah area. It will also operate a new hotel next year at the new terminal 3 in Dubai International Airport.
