Dubai: The 2014 edition of the Arabian Travel Market is expected to mark significant growth for GCC’ largest travel showcase. Due to increased exhibitor demand from a variety of industry sectors, an extra hall has been added to the floor plan, which now exceeds 23,500 square metres of exhibition space, representing a 5.8 per cent increase in floor space for next year’s event to be held from May 5-8, 2014 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, according to event organisers, Reed Travel Exhibitions. Recent statistics reveal that rising demand from Middle East exhibitors is up 11 per cent, Europe up 7 per cent, and travel technology and hotels is rising by 8 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.
