etisalat takes part in Cairo trade fair for the first time

The fair is one of the largest business-to-business and business-to-consumer trade events in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), targeting every major manufacturer, wholesaler, and supplier of products and services.
The press release said some of ebtikar's services are displayed at a specified section in the 'UAE pavilion'. Ebtikar is a regional leader in producing smart cards, GSM, simcards, scratch card solutions, payment solutions for mobile operators.
Established in 1996 as first smart card manufacturer in the region, ebtikar card systems received the 'Best National Factory Award' at the second Ajman Awards for Industrial Excellence in 2007.
The Cairo International Fair aims to create favour-able conditions for local and foreign enterprises and trade organisations to search for business partners, expand markets, and develop production, business and import - export activities. There are 24 countries participating in this year's event and over 2,000 Egyptian companies.
CEO of etisalat services Ali Al Sharid said, "etisalat is committed to establishing factories to international standards and adopting the latest processes to ensure a world class standard of production."
Ahmad Bin Ali, vice-president of corporate communications, etisalat, said, "etisalat's participation at the fair reinforces its commitment to provide the best services to our customers."
Factory: Smart card maker
Established in 1996 as first smart card manufacturer in the region, ebtikar card systems received the 'Best National Factory Award' at the second Ajman Awards for Industrial Excellence in 2007.
The manufacturer produces 400 million cards a year. The company's smart cards manufacturing unit fulfils the exponentially growing card and application demands of the market.
