Your music at just the click of a mouse

MixTurtle brings you your music at just the click of a mouse

Dubai: Music sites that allow you to stream music are everywhere on the Internet, but most just want you to listen to what they're playing - with the option to buy, of course.

MixTurtle doesn't follow that model. This site allows you to find the music you want, play it when you want, and even build up playlists so you can play those songs again next time you're on the site. It's also dead simple to use.

There are two reasons this site works so well. The first is that the site keeps thing simple. There are no complicated searches here.

Just type in the name of the song or artist you are looking for. The site will then give you a list of options. All you have to do is click on the song.

You can register with the site - again, even that's dead simple - and you can manage your playlist just by right-clicking on the website. This brings up a small window that doubles as a music manager and player.

The second thing that makes this site great is the technology behind it. MixTurtle doesn't store any music on the site; instead, it searches the web for music and then streams it back to you.

Note for the non-tech savvy: don't worry, you don't really need to know this. Just click on the song you want and it should play.

For those of you new to streaming, it means you won't be able to download the music. You can only listen when you're online.

MixTurtle's search-and-play method has a couple of big advantages. First, the amount of music you can find through the site is incredible.

I entered the name of a song I haven't been able to find on iTunes or Amazon, so I was surprised when MixTurtle actually found the song.

The site finds music from multiple sites, so if a song from one source doesn't play, MixTurtle will automatically go to the next.
