Wirelessly joy with X1000
American networking experts Cisco have launched the Linksys X1000 router under its new X- series. Compatible with both Mac and Windows, the stylishly matt-finish router, is easy to set-up and use, says the company. The X- series is also compatible with the free Cisco Connect Express app, which helps users control their home Wifi and who has access to it.
Mischa Barton gets Uunique
Gadgets and fashion, the Twain have met before. And the lastest one to dive into it is TV star Mischa Barton who launched a range of luxury iPhone and iPad cases for a London brand called Uunique. We will never quite know the connection with her Indian-inspired dress at the launch but the cases are now available on uuniqie.uk.com.

Nokia has had a great history with apps and this new addition is bound to be a breath of fresh air for those still missing their Google Maps app from their iOS mobile phones. BlackBerry ready for January 30
Will BlackBerry make it? Research in Motion has confirmed January 30, 2013 will be D-Day for its much-touted major attempt at smartphone relevance with the launch of its BlackBerry 10 phones. For the uninitiated, the new operating system will be a completely different rethink of the BlackBerry OS as you know it, with funcky features like Flow, which lets users swipe between apps, and the Hub, which is the centre of all the action, accessible at any time. As they say, only time will tell.
