Pakistani firms achieve twin objectives with participation
Global exposure as desired as exports boosted
Dubai: The participation of Pakistani software companies at Gitex will not only boost software and IT exports from the country, but also give the firms international exposure, said Mansour Ahmad Bajwa, commercial counsellor, while visiting the Pakistan pavilion at Gitex 2011.
Bajwa, while touring the Pakistani stalls, said that as many as nine well-established software companies have participated in Gitex 2011.
He said all products had been displayed under the banner of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and added that some of the companies participating in Gitex were already involved in major projects in the UAE.
