Logitech seeks to cash in on internet boom
The rise of internet communication and growing trends towards the personalisation of PCs has encouraged personal peripherals manufacturer Logitech to launch new products.
Dubai: The rise of internet communication and growing trends towards the personalisation of PCs has encouraged personal peripherals manufacturer Logitech to launch new products.
The Swiss company specialises in mouse and keyboard production, but is seeing stronger sales growth for webcams and audio products. "Internet communication in this region is high and people like to look at each other when they talk," said Robert van de Vegte, the company's regional director for Benelux, Middle East and Africa.
He admitted the absence of voice over internet protocol in the UAE means potential demand for internet related technology is not being met.
