The 10 kilometre Al Qudra Road, which is now open to the public, has been widened to facilitate an easier flow of traffic.

Among the world class thematic projects that will distinguish the Dh100 billion mega project as a milestone development will be the Ottoman Palace Hotel and Resort that will replicate Turkish architecture of the 16th and 17th centuries; the Dh800 million Al Maghreb Resort and Spa that will recreate the magic of Morocco, and the Dh1.85 billion America Hotel and Resort that will showcase New York's Broadway shows as a permanent fixture.
Other developments include the Dh1.2 billion Palaces Hotel and Resort which will be modelled on the world's grandest palaces, and the Dh1.3 billion Holly Bolly Hotel and Resort that will make Dubai the home of a unique fusion of Hollywood and Bollywood.
