Agility fully acquires CF Geologistics
Logistics provider Agility yesterday said it has fully acquired CF Geologistics.
Dubai: Logistics provider Agility yesterday said it has fully acquired CF Geologistics.
The Copenhagen-based forwarding specialists is well known for air and ocean freight solutions.
The company has a strong customer base, especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and technological industries.
With a staff of 17 employees, the CF Geologistics office solidifies Agility's coverage in Northern Europe.
Denmark comes under Agility Europe's Area North, which includes Sweden, Norway, Ireland and the UK. Customers are expected to benefit from the strengthened North European presence, which will also allow complete access to Agility's global network and capabilities.
CF Geologistics has been acting as a joint venture partner and agent for Agility since 2004, with Agility having a 29 per cent stake in the company. It will now be fully integrated into Agility and will operate under the Agility brand. The company will also have access to all carrier programmes and support services, such as tender management, sales and marketing and operations excellence.

This is perfectly in line with Agility Europe's dedicated growth strategy and further solidifies our presence in this important market that links the North of Europe to the rest of the world", said Chris Price, managing director of Area North Europe for Agility.
Agility has more than 32,000 employees, and over 550 offices in 100 countries. A publicly traded company, with over $6 billion in annual revenue, Agility has three key operating units - Global Integrated Logistics, Defence & Government Services and Investments.
