Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) and Hyundai Engineering and Construction have signed a contract agreeing on the allocation of a dedicated 40,000 sq m plot of land and warehouse facilities covering 4,536 sq m, which will be used for the import and export of cargo to support the Satah Al-Razboot (SARB) project.
Hyundai Engineering and Construction has been a long-term customer of ADPC, and this contract reflects the increased import and export volumes which will be required to support the company’s contract with Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) for the SARB Field Development Project Package 4 EPC work.
The plot of land and warehouse at Zayed Port will also include a temporary storage facility and workshop that will undertake light assembly fabrication work coupled with a lay-down yard for accommodation modules and other materials.
The contract agreement was signed by Gary Lemke, Executive Vice President Ports, ADPC, and Hong-Joo Lee, Administration Manager, Hyundai Engineering and Construction.
