The first office building in Dubai dedicated to fostering women-owned businesses is set to be constructed in Business Bay.
Dubai: The first office building in Dubai dedicated to fostering women-owned businesses is set to be constructed in Business Bay.
Hydra Properties is planning a five-tower structure which will include a 20-storey office building in which each business must be owned by a woman.
The freehold tower will be completed by the first quarter of 2009 with floors measuring 3,000 square feet, to accommodate the smaller business of female entrepreneurs and ensure that each female-owned business has its own floor.
While men will be allowed into the building, there will be a separate entrance, elevator and car park for females only.
