Sama to build Dubai Towers cluster to tune of Dh65 billion

Dubai: Sama Dubai, the real estate development and investment arm of Dubai Holding, yesterday said it will build Dubai Towers, a cluster of towers at the Dh65 billion ($18 billion) Lagoons.

The Dubai Towers will comprise four residential, commercial, retail and hospitality towers, ranging from 57 to 94 floors.

The estimated date of completion of the complex is mid-2010.

Launched under the Dubai Towers brand of Sama Dubai, the iconic structures will feature a choreographed concept of form and function to metaphorically represent the flicker of candlelight.

Creek coastline

The Lagoons is a mixed-use freehold development being built along the Dubai Creek coastline, will cover an area of 70 million square feet over 40 kilometres of waterfront land.
